Blame Cannada

It’s been said of North Carolina basketball fans that we aren’t the most humble bunch.

I’ll admit, I’ve been called an arrogant Tar Heel a time or two.

What a time to be alive.
It’s the best week of the year, sports fans!
You don’t have to be a college basketball fan to know that the NCAA tournament is as good as it gets. Anybody can win. Anybody can lose. You’re probably even making some last minute changes to your bracket as you read this.

My 5-month-old daughter is accomplishing all kinds of milestones.

She’s sitting up, laughing her head off, grabbing everything, rolling over….you name it. One milestone I do not approve of, however, is her new ability to break dad’s heart.

For the clicks

If Yahoo! is doing it for the clicks, it’s working.

The website has been slowly leaking documents it obtained relating to the FBI’s college basketball corruption investigation, and SOME of it is actually kind of juicy.

This is normally the most wonderful time of the year for college basketball fans like myself.

The tournament is right around the corner. Anything can happen. The field is more wide open than it has ever been.

There are a lot of things I struggle to do athletically.

I didn’t make anybody’s basketball team growing up. I wasn’t a good enough at football to start more than one or two games in high school. Even in baseball, where I was arguably the most gifted, I couldn’t compete at a very high level.

4 Months

You celebrate the most arbitrary milestones when you’re a new parent of an infant.

My wife wishes Penny a happy birthday each time a month passes by.

We’ve all seen the Facebook posts right?

Lots of laughs

I’m a light-hearted guy (probably to a fault).

If you’ve spent any amount of time around me, you’re well aware of this. I like to laugh and, when it’s possible, I like to make other people laugh.
