Liberty Mill to hold
Fall Festival Oct. 21
Liberty Mill Methodist Church is hosting a Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 21, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church gym.
Food includes biscuits for breakfast and hotdogs for lunch along with homemade cakes, pies, casseroles and more.

To host church bazaar
Lee Road United Methodist Church at 1377 East Lee Road in Taylors will hold a church bazaar for missions on Saturday, Oct. 14, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Handmade crafts, jewelry, canned goods, baked items and vendors with various items will be present for the event.
Yard sale at
Liberty United Methodist Church is having a huge yard sale on Saturday, Oct. 7, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, located at 4276 Highway 414 in Landrum.

Apalache Baptist seniors plan to go out to eat at 6 p.m. Sept. 28 (destination to be announced at a later date).
A one day trip is scheduled Sept. 22 for the “Golden Hearts” men to visit NASCAR race shops in NC.
The men will be visiting the following race shops: Penske Racing, JR Motorsports, Joe Gibbs Racing, Dale Earnhardt Inc., and Hendrick Motorsports.

Grace UMC to start Family 101 class
Family 101: Back to the Basics is a nine-week study for strengthening families.
Grace United Methodist Church is proud to offer this course to the Greer Community on Wednesday evenings beginning Sept. 6, at 6:45 p.m.
The “Golden Hearts” seniors will meet at the Zaxby’s in Greer on Aug. 31 at 6 p.m. for the evening meal.
Renamed this year
The Doug Bortone Memorial Golf Tournament for Missions has been renamed from the Annual Tee It Up For Toronto Golf Tournament. The fifth annual golf tournament for missions is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 16.
