Greer Middle College Charter High School recently announced changes in its athletic department for the 2018-19 school year.
The Greenville County Track and Field Championships were held at Eastside High School last Monday and Tuesday. Teams competing included Greer, Riverside, Eastside, Blue Ridge and Greer Middle College.
For the Yellow Jackets, Quavian White, Coen Roberts and Richie Saddler took first place in their events.
Willie Robertson, Aaron Rodgers, Shep Rose and other celebrities will tee off at the BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by SYNNEX Corporation, set for May 17-20 at Thornblade Club, Furman University Golf Club and The Cliffs Valley.

More than 40 boats and 70 participants pushed off the banks into Lake Robinson Saturday morning during the Greer Centennial Lions Club’s inaugural bass fishing tournament.
“The tournament drew mainly local fishermen from Greer and the surrounding areas,” said Lions Club secretary Alison Rauch.
