The SC Football Officials Association (SCFOA) is looking for new officials for the 2018 high school football season.
The Rebels stayed hot last week, earning four more wins and improving to 19-1 coming out of Spring Break.
The Byrnes softball team won the Crescent tournament, defeating Hartsville in the title game.
The Riverside golf team took second at the Greenville County tournament last weekend, finishing just behind Christ Church (297) with a team score of 301.
The Warriors had a three-stroke lead on Greenville, which finished at 304. St. Joe’s and Mauldin rounded out the Top 5 at 305 and 306 respectively.
The Yellow Jackets feel they are better than their record indicates heading into the home stretch of region play.
Sitting at a three-way tie for third place in the region coming out of Spring Break, Greer will have an opportunity to control its own destiny this week against Union.
The Tigers were shut out by Byrnes during a Spring Break tournament last week, but bounced back to blank Daniel 10-0.
Heading into their final four region games, the Tigers are 2-2 in the conference and 11-7 overall.
Riding momentum from Spring Break wins over Blue Ridge and Seneca, Byrnes baseball coach Michael Maus believe his team may be peaking at the right time.
North Greenville’s Inaugural 7v7 Spring Shootout Championship went into overtime, as Young Harris 1 topped Furman University White 4-3.
“It was a wild game. I did not expect this,” said Annie Miller of the North Greenville University women’s soccer team.
Each team took home a trophy from Cowart Awards.

Kyle Busch held off a hard-charging Kevin Harvick to earn the win in Sunday’s O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 at Texas Motor Speedway.
Hoping to defend their 2017 South Atlantic League Championship, the Greenville Drive announced its official roster ahead of Opening Day last week.
Now in a three-way tie for third place in the region, Blue Ridge split a series with Union County last week, moving to 2-2 in Peach Blossom play.
The Tigers opened the week with a 13-5 win over Southside Christian, pounding 15 hits in the contest.
Blue Ridge then dropped a 4-0 decision to Union County on Tuesday.
